I taught my children for 14 years and have spent the last 12 years teaching writing to students. Through those years, I have seen how challenging writing can be and how practical strategies help students grow as writers. As students learn and practice new skills, their writing becomes clearer, their organization stronger, and their confidence grows. By the end of the school year, students who once felt discouraged tell me that writing finally feels more manageable and less overwhelming. Supporting that growth is a privilege.
